Background of the Study
Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) have become a prominent model for delivering public services and infrastructure projects in Nigeria, especially at the local government level. The Nigerian Constitution provides the legal framework within which such partnerships can be established, ensuring that they align with national laws and public interest. However, the regulation of PPPs often faces challenges related to transparency, accountability, and the protection of public interest.
In Wase Local Government Area (LGA), Plateau State, there have been efforts to utilize PPPs for various developmental projects, including infrastructure development, healthcare, and education.
